The IHM Shillong offers following study programmes and courses:

• B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (3 years); 10+2 pass students can apply.

Admission to the above programme is based on NCHMCTJEE

• 1 1/2 Year Trade Diploma in Food Production; 10th pass students can apply.
• 1 1/2 Year Trade Diploma in Food and Beverage Service ; 10th pass students can apply.
• 1 1/2 Year Trade Diploma in Bakery & Confectionery; 10th pass students can apply.
• 1 1/2 Craftsmanship Course in Food Production & Patisserie; 10th pass students can apply.
• 6 Months Craftsmanship Certificate Course in Food and Beverage Service; 10th pass students can apply.

Note: There is no age limit. Seat for Vegetarian option is available in 3 Years B.Sc in HHA Program, 1 1/2 Year Trade Diploma Course and 1 1/2 Year Craftsmanship Course at IHM.

Training and Placement

The students enrolled at IHM Shillong are required to undergo for Industrial Training. Its compulsory for successful completion of the course. The training duration is 17 weeks. Further, students get job opportunities in Hospitality industry through campus selection process. The IHM Students are working in both Public and Private sector. Its placement record is nearly 100%. In previous years companies like Heritage Madurai, KFC, Hyatt, American Express Lounge, and PVR Directors Cut visited the IHM Shillong campus to select students for various job positions.
