College Of Community Science Tura

Located in Sangsangre, Tura, the College of Community Science (formerly known as the College of Home Science) is a constituent institution of Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Manipur. The college began offering its B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science (formerly known as Home Science) program in the academic year 2004–05. Ten female students from Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Manipur made up the inaugural class. Academic and administrative activities were conducted in a makeshift facility at Dakopgre, Tura.

The college hired Dr. K. Sheela as its dean in 2006, and in 2009 it moved its administrative and academic operations to its permanent site in Sangsanggre, Tura. Following Dr. Sheela's retirement in July 2015, Dr. Puspita Das was named interim dean, and in December 2016, Dr. Anurag Chaturvedi was named permanent dean.  After Dr. Chaturvedi resigned in September 2017, Dr. Puspita Das was once more named the college's in-charge dean and is now serving in that capacity.
